Series on Pageticker - New Feature

We've just released a new feature on Pageticker where teachers can see if books are part of a series. This will shortly be available for parents and children on the app too.

What do we mean by a series?

We have taken series to mean two things. The first is books that are part of an unordered series, for example, the Little People Big Dreams series. The second is ordered series like the Harry Potter series.

How can you see if a book is part of a series on the Teacher Dashboard?

You can see other books in a series on several places on the Teacher Dashboard. If you click on the cover of a book on the homepage (where the trending books carousels are). At the top of the page it'll give you details about the book, any community ratings from your school and other books in the series by the same author and similar books.

You can also get to this page by clicking on the book cover from a reading log entry from the weekly overview page. To find it, click on a circle to view a reading log entry. Then click on the cover of a book.

When a book series doesn't appear

We are always adding books to series. We have over 500 currently. We are also adding books to series as and when we have capacity and have a spreadsheet that we are working through. If there's a particular series that you'd love to see, please get in touch on support@pageticker.com and we will make sure it's on our spreadsheet and prioritise accordingly.
