Temporary Service Disruption – Security Update
21 October 2026
Today, the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) issued an alert regarding a critical security vulnerability affecting PHP, a technology widely used by websites and online services around the world, including parts of Pageticker.
Although we are already running a current version of PHP, this issue potentially affects all versions.
As a precautionary measure, we have temporarily taken some Pageticker services offline while our technical team applies the necessary security updates and verifies that our systems are protected.
We appreciate that this may cause some inconvenience, particularly during the school day. However, protecting our users and the educational data entrusted to us is our highest priority.
We are working to restore normal service as quickly and safely as possible and will update this page as soon as we have further information.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
