New Features This Week: Magazines + Clickable Book Covers
We’re always working to make Pageticker more useful for both teachers and families. This week, we’ve rolled out two updates that we think you’ll love:
Magazines on Your Bookshelf
Reading isn’t just about books - magazines play a big part in helping children discover new interests and develop their literacy. You can now add magazines to your bookshelf and log reading time for them, just like you would with a book.
Since magazines don’t use ISBNs, their barcodes won’t scan in the usual way. Instead, simply type in the title and you’ll find it that way. If you spot a magazine that isn’t in our list yet, let us know—we’ll get it added.

Clickable Book Covers in the Teacher Dashboard
Teachers can now click directly on any book cover in their dashboard to unlock richer details about that title. This includes:
Author
Lexile level
Synopsis
Age category
Genres
It’s a quicker, more intuitive way to learn more about what your students are reading without breaking your workflow.
These updates are live now - so go ahead and give them a try. And as always, if you have feedback, we’d love to hear it!
