We're delighted to announce Pageticker's latest feature, which is the ability to create and manage groups on the Teacher Dashboard. This feature has been developed based on feedback from lots of teachers, enabling teachers to seamlessly monitor phonics, intervention and guided reading groups.
How Groups Help Teachers
The groups function helps teachers to monitor the reading of groups of children across the school. This provides teachers with richer reading data than traditional reading records and in a fraction of the time.
Some phonics schemes, like Read Write Inc , rely on teachers grouping children and progressing them through the groups based on their understanding. Pageticker helps teachers to closely monitor these groups of children as you’ll see in the monitoring group reading section below.
Some schools choose to create reading intervention groups on the Teacher Dashboard, although it is up to each individual school if they’d like to use this feature or not. This feature enables teachers to really understand the reading habits of their intervention groups.
Remember that as a teacher you can create as many groups as you wish to. Pupils from across the school can be in the same group and pupils can be in multiple groups too.

Monitor Group Reading
As well as being able to monitor class data, teachers can also gain rich insights into the reading habits of your groups. For example, the number of times they have read a book, any words that they are finding tricky and any books that they have all enjoyed.
