New Feature: Reading Challenges

We've developed a new and exciting feature on Pageticker, where teachers can set reading challenges for pupils.

How do reading challenges work?

On the Teacher Dashboard, teachers can find the reading challenges section under the engagement menu.

They can set challenges for groups, classes or the whole school. Children will read their books as normal (away from the app) and simply keep track of their progress on Pageticker.

Teachers can currently set challenges for books completed, pages read or reviews written, with bronze, silver and gold milestones.

It's really quick and easy to set and monitor challenges - check out this video.

It's also really simple for parents and pupils to monitor their progress in the app.

Why have we developed the reading challenge feature?

We've produced this feature in response to feedback from our schools. As many schools have set reading challenges as part of the National Year of Reading, we wanted to make it really quick and easy for teachers to monitor this.

We also know that during times like the holidays, it's a great way to keep children engaged in their reading. For example, the Summer Reading Challenge.

If you have any questions you can't find the answers to, take a look at our Help Centre. If you're looking for a specific reading challenge, please share it with us on support@pageticker.com.
