At Pageticker, our mission has always been simple: to make reading more engaging for pupils and more manageable for teachers. Our digital reading diary is constantly evolving—because we know classrooms are busy, teachers are stretched, and pupils deserve tools that make reading both fun and rewarding.
This September, as schools head into a brand-new year, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you features that save time and make life easier. And we’re especially excited to share one that’s already proving a hit with teachers, TAs, and pupils alike…

Introducing Scan & Log
Logging reading just got faster, simpler, and a lot more fun.
With Scan & Log, pupils can record their own reading in seconds using nothing more than a device with a camera and your class QR code. It’s quick, it’s reliable, and it takes the hassle out of tracking reading progress.
Teachers and TAs love it because it keeps things organised without adding to their workload. Pupils love it because it feels independent and tech-savvy.
Where to Find Your QR Codes
You’ll find the class QR codes in your Teacher Dashboard under: User Management → Pupils and Classes
Print one out, stick it in your classroom’s reading corner, and pupils can start scanning the books they borrow straight away—making it easier for you to keep track of them. It’s a simple way to keep reading logs accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
Ready to Try It Out?
Log in to your teacher dashboard today, find your class QR codes, and see how easy it is to get started with Scan & Log.
This is just one of the many ways we’re making Pageticker smarter, faster, and more useful for your classroom. And we’re not stopping here—more exciting updates are already in the works!
